The dictionary is easy to install on a desktop computer.
The Talking Partner® Dictionary for Windows translates words from English to Russian and from Russian to English. One of its remarkable features is voice function, i.e. the ability to pronounce English words.
Now you don\'t have to check the transcription, merely select the word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) creates a human vocal tract simulation resulting in a clear life-like pronunciation of English words.
The dictionary also features:
- preview of dictionary entries;
- parts of speech filter;
- quick search by initial letters and search by a string of characters;
- quick reverse translation for proof of correct understanding;
- adjustable user interface and toolbar;

These dictionaries have been enhanced with the Word Grabber function. It allows picking the text fragment in an application and copying it to the dictionary. For import of text fragments the special Grabbing Tool was designed. It appears on the screen when the dictionary is minimized.
