Thank you, Jerry, for your suppport.
I emailed to abe@ectaco.com - didn't receive any response though.
Called the number you provided. Lady, named Kerry (?), was kind and helpful. She informed me that UPS didn't send them any info regarding damage claim, so she promised to call me back once they get all they need and would give me an eta for replacement unit.

Ok great, it usually takes like 6-7 days for the UPS claim to get investigated and close out so hopefully by then we can send you a new unit.
Do you have your order number by any chance? It should be on the invoice and says eOrd-######. Please let me know so maybe i can follow along a bit, i cant see all details from my panel but it may provide me with some info. Thanks!

Rus, appears you've been duped same as rest of us. Take some time & read through other mails. We all seem to be fobbed off until the seven days are up, then can't return the item as it's "over 7 days since received" & Ectaco then fall back on their "conditions". Jerry is kept very busy and does an excellent job at doing this. I'm taking this through to consumer affairs. Read the following message from "Mira" recently posted & now (strangely) removed from the forum. PM me if you wish, I've a 'story' to tell.

RC,
1) The post was removed for a reason, we don't just remove posts because we 'don't like what the customer is saying'. Their was a legal reason behind this and our lawyer suggested we removed the thread. I cant disclose to many details but we have good evidence of customer fraud concerning the transaction.
2) It is my opinion but it seems the only purpose of your post is to evoke disdain towards our company in this post. IF you read it properly you would understand that investigations by FedEx, UPS and USPS take time and are not within our control. The issue and delay was not on our side.
3)Why are you bringing back to life posts from a year ago?
Lastly, Posting on our forum is a privilege. Whether or not your are making attacks on our company is at my discretion and i can remove the privilege immediately.
