I'm using the Ectaco Partner DP800 translator. Couple of days ago I'd tried to run the traslator and it dosn't start. It made 3 beeps with diode blinking in red. Screen dosn't turn on at all.

Then I done "How to reload the Firmware for 800 Models? (part 1 and 2)" from your forum. Everything went well, firmware had loaded succesfully. When I reset translator, it showed message "User disk structure corrupted. Format required. Procesing... ...OK", then screen wen't off again with 3 short quiet beeps. Next start is again 3 beeps with blinking red diode without screen.

Dear Customer,

Please, take out the battery and put it back in 30 minutes.
Then Charge it for 30 minutes.
If it still doesn't work, plug it in when battery is not inserted and check how it works.

My dictionary is not powering up. I use it 5 times if that much. When I contacted tech support, all I got was: if product is under the warrantee – you are on your own and feel free to purchase a new product from us.
Are you kidding me? I spent $400 + for the devise that is disposable/non-reparable?

All I am trying to find out is does Ectaco has an authorized repair centers for its product and the only one answer I am getting is “feel free to purchase a new product”.
