Hello, I am new and I need your help

Hello to everybody,

I need your help about the following:

A lot of years my mother gave in concept of gift an electronic dictionary ECTACO PARTNER Model ES400TX. I have used it for almost 6 years, last week I had to change the batteries as always I have done but now the dictionary is not responding, it is not turning on.

I would like to know if I have lost opportunity to use it again. I have read in the help what maybe is possible RAM dissapears if there is a delay in puting the batteries.

Could it happen? In affirmative case, I have possibilities to charge all again?

I am in Argentina, so I do not think nobody can fix it.

Thanks for the message! First, i am going to move your question to the Technical Support section.

For this model, the best thing to do is replace the batteries and then hit the reset button. If this does not work the item may be dead indefinitely.
