3 times I have had e-books on sd card get corrupted. On one, last part of html file displayed random characters. on other 2 parts of 2 different ebooks got run together somehow. This never happened on any other ebook reader and didn't happen on jbl until reader was updated to 15d firmware. SD card has been formatted at least 1 time since this started happening. And no the original html file was not corrupt. Does firmware need reinstalled?

I had this problem with the original Jetbook. I found out that it happened when I removed the SD card when the unit was off and I added something to the SD card and then plugged it back in and then powered it up. It seems that the Jetbook does not like this. If I take the card out and put it in while it is on and let it rebuild its directory, it doesn't corrupt the SD card.
This may not be what you are seeing, I have no experience with the JBL.

Hmmmm that's a possible, I rarely take the card out but I may have. Can't say I remember doing it the 3 different times but its possible, I'll have to remember to put the card back in when the jbl is on. Most devices you need to have it off to put card in or take it out.

Well that's a thought but unfortunately this 3rd jbl (the first 2 hung on logo screen and had to be returned for replacement) doesn't do firmware updates. So basically you sent me a 3rd jbl with problems. Maybe I should just come back in a couple years when you will either be out of business or have things straightened out.
