Hello everybody,

I'm a happy new owner of a jetbook lite purchased last week at ectaco and have a question regarding arabic support. I saw the "asian language support" announcement on the ectaco web site (May 6,2010 so that's quite new) : https://www.ectaco.com/news/8418/ and tried to read an arabic txt file (encoded in UTF8) but faced some problems. In fact, the letters were displayed correctly and from Right to left but there was no ligatures (bindings) between the letters. I then tried to open a txt file encoded in win-1256 and also played with the language menu of the jetbook (to select arabic) but went throught the same issue.

Can you please give me some directions or a sample arabic file to read so that i can test the arabic support of the reader.

Thanks in advance

PS : If you want, i can post a picture with the result i got (i don't have my reader with me now) or even post some arabic files.

PDF format is the only kind of files that support Asian languages on Jetbook.
