Tried all suggestions found here, the manual and email. Nothing works.

In an email I was given a contact number in New York.

Cannot get through on phone. Even put it on auto-dial from 10am central time to 3 pm central time. Always busy.

I am trying to get a refund from Amazon but it sounds doubtful at this point. I've had the jetbook for 32 days.
