Hello,

I tried to update my JBC using
http://images.jetbook.net/upgrade/jbc/r1818/JBC_12_10_12_SPANISH.exe

After copying on a clean (fat formated) SD card and rebooting the device
I get this message "Update done"

After an other reboot "ECTACO Starting...." appears and nothing else (blank screen)

I don't know how to fix this !

Kind regards

Sébastien

Hi Sebastien,

Thanks for the message. Ensure the device is charged properly and then reset it again. You wouldn't believe how many 'the product wont work' requests result in a discharged battery.

If it still does not work, i recommend re-loading the firmware on the unit.

If you are still facing difficulty, you can email tech@ectaco.com to see if they have any input on the matter. If it has been purchased within a year you would be under warranty.
