Pocket PC Windows Mobile software registration.

Please follow these steps to register the software:
1. Once you placed an order, you should get an order confirmation email with .key or .rkf file to download.
2. Please download it to your PC and then transfer it to PDA with ActiveSync software and PC connection.
3. You should then transfer it to “My Documents” folder.
4. Please install the product if you haven't installed it yet and launch it on your PDA.
5. When the Registration window appears, please press "Open File" button and select this *.key (or *.rkf) file.
6. Please press OK. You will get a confirmation window of successful product registration. Now the software is registered and all databases are available.
7. If the registration window didn’t appear when you launched the software, please go to its Tools->Registration tab.

I don't have a key file, I have a 25 character key which was sent to me when I ordered. How do I make an rkf file using that key?

Dear Sir / Madam,

If you have the 25 character key it means that you've got the old software version. To get the .rkf or .key file, you should order and pay for the new version of the software online.
Please contact us at sales@ectaco.com providing your order reference number, we'll offer you a discount for the new version.

I don't want to buy an upgrade, I just want to be able to re-download the versions I purchased and re-install them. Since I purchased download assurance this should not be a problem, right?

Oh, I had no problem logging into www.ectaco.com/account, the problem is it does not show the versions I purchased. Instead it shows 2008 demo versions of the software and next to it 25 character keys. Of course 2008 versions don't accept 25 character keys, they need key files.
I also still have the original order confirmation e-mail with links to download the software I bought, and those links also retrieve the newest versions of the software, not the ones I ordered: 2006 and 2007.

And Val, please no more canned replies, OK?
