ONYX BOOX Nova Air C is a device with an E Ink Kaleido Plus color 7.8” screen with a lighting system and double touch control. The contrast and color enhancement of these screens was significantly improved comparatively with the screens of previous generation. The model is made in a thin metal body and its screen is covered with an Asahi protective glass. The Nova Air С is based on a high performance 8-core processor and 3 GB of RAM, which provide high working speed in all the usage modes. A built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to use different network services, and the support of Bluetooth allows the user to connect different external devices. Thanks to its enlarged screen, taking handwritten notes and color display, this model will become a perfect choice for those, who intend to combine ebooks reading and working with documents which have colored images.

Screen lighting system

The MOON Light technology allows you to use the device in the dark or under poor lighting conditions. When this function is in use, soft luminescence of the screen comfortable for reading in dark rooms and safe for your sight is being generated. And thanks to the use of Flicker-Free technology this front-light system is perfectly smooth.

Increased screen diagonal

The ONYX BOOX Nova Air C screen, enlarged up to 7.8 inches, displays 68% more information than similar 6" screens. At the same time, the device is compact enough for comfortable use during trips and travel.

Dual touch control

The device has two sensor layers. You can turn pages of e-books and zoom documents with intuitive two-finger movements. In addition, the Wacom sensor layer is located under the E Ink panel. Thanks to this, you can make notes on the margins and sketches using a special stylus which comes with the device. The stylus recognizes 4096 degrees of pressure and allows you to draw with extreme accuracy.

Additional screen protection

Protective glass from a well-known Japanese manufacturer ASAHI is placed on top of the E Ink screen and protects it from scratches and other damages. The new glass eliminated the need for additional edges, so the screen is flush with the body of the device. This makes the work with the e-book more comfortable, and its appearance more modern. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

High performance work

The 8-core processor with 2 GHz clock rate and 3 GB of RAM ensures comfortable work with the most difficult documents. And 32 GB of nonvolatile memory allows the user to store a considerable library.

Bluetooth module

Thanks to the built-in 5.0 Bluetooth module, you can connect external devices.

OTG

The device supports OTG, with which you can connect additional peripherals that do not require drivers.

Format Support

The BOOX software allows the user to open files of various text and graphic formats. When reading you can change font style and size, disposition of pages, insert bookmarks, add your own fonts and zoom documents at will.

Dictionaries

The software of the device allows you to install additional dictionary databases in the Stardict format at your wish or to download offered dictionaries automatically when you connect to Wi-Fi in the dictionary settings.

Audio player

There is a pre-installed audio player in the device which allows you to listen to the music and audio files. For its work is enough to connect earphones or external speakers to the device and open a corresponding file. It is also possible to listen to audio files via built-in speakers.

User-friendly ebook writing into the memory

In addition to the standard way of copying ebooks with the help of a USB cable, you can transfer them via Bluetooth or a Wi-Fi channel when connected to the Internet. A new cloud PUSH service "Send2boox" also is available.

Installing apps

The Nova Air is based on the Android 11 operating system and allows you to install and use third-party apps which significantly enlarge the abilities of the device.
