I am travling to South America next month, February 2012. I am going to visit Brazil and several Spanish speaking countries.

I would like to purchase a hand held device that would allow me to hold a conversation with a Spanish speaking person or a Brazlian Portuguese speaking person with me speanking in English, push a button and have my English words translated almost instantly from English to either Spanish or Brazlian Portuguese. Then allow the individual I am visiting with either speaking into the device in Spanish or Brazlian Portuguese, push a button and have their words translated almost instantly into English.

I recognize that I am asking for a "Tall Order", but I hope you Folks can help. If I need to purchase two seperate devices, so be it!

Thanks for the message. The closest thing to what you are looking for is one of our partner 900 series, specifically the ES900. This model has a full color touch screen, speech to speech for database phrases, text translation so you can type anything and have it translated as well as specialized language teaching programs.
