Partner PW800 Text Translation icon missing from desktop

I just purchased a Partner PW800 and was hoping to use the Ectaco Text Translation software, but the icon doesn't appear on the desktop. Does the PW800 have this text translator capability? I purchased this device for a native Spanish speaker and we would like to be able to translate text from Spanish to English. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Krisjmac,

Thank you for your inquiry.

In order to access the Text Translation system on the English <-> Spanish ECTACO Partner ES800, you will need to select Dictionaries section from the Main Menu and to tap the Ectaco Text Translation icon.

The problem is that the Ectaco text translation icon doesn't appear in the dictionary section on my PW 800. I have the Western European Multilingual version MMC.

Hi Krisjmac,

Unfortunately, the Western European multilingual Partner EW800 does not include the Text Translation system and it is not indicated anywhere in the product description that it does.
