All ECTACO translators have European Spanish.

Hi Alex,
In Ectaco's ads nowhere does it say that Ectaco translators/ dictionaries have European Spanish only. Perhaps it would be good to include that info in the ads. As there are more Spanish speakers outside Spain, each with its own peculiarities, expressions, and variations in vocabulary, it's important that this be made clear up front. When speaking with my friends from Spain and South America, it's very interesting to compare the differences between the Spanish spoken in Europe and that spoken in Latin America, to say nothing of the Spanish which is developing right here in the US, as Spanish and English cross pollinate one another. The result, often called Spanglish, horrifies the purist, but it's a reality which must be faced, like it or not. I don't expect Ectaco to include Spanglish, but consideration should be given to including Latin American Spanish. John
