Is there any way to really turn off a Partner 900? Mine seems to have an "instant on" feature that causes the battery to completely discharge within three weeks even when the unit isn't being used at all.

(Yeah, I know, I *should* be using my unit every day.)

Hey,

Thanks for the message. Even with the power management system on the Partner 900 it should last for at least a weak or two. You can ask support@ectaco.com to see if they have any hints or tips.

Also, i can tell we you we have a new Partner LUX model. This has a standby mode as well as an way to turn it completely off. If you decide to upgrade form your Partner 900 to the Partner LUX we can give you some credit for the Partner 900.

If you're interested in the upgrade you can send me an email to jerry@ectaco.com and I'll be glad to help!
