Hi, I am the happy owner of a ITRAVL NTL with Englisch- Russian. Since i have to use this machine for proffesional use is there a chance that we can buy full speech translation in the near future?
This would make it a really usefull instrument.

Thanks for the question.

As we do not plan to release any free speech translation module for the iTRAVL in the near future, I'd recommend to check out our brand new English <-> Russian Free Speech Electronic Translator ECTACO Partner LUX which you may find online at

This unique palm-size device allows translating anything that you speak into it in English or in Russian when connected to a WiFi network. Once recognized, the translated text will be spoken out loud using a real human voice output.

The offline voice recognition and translation is limited to the number of phrases included in the phrasebook which is the same thing with the iTRAVL.

While being offline, you can also type in any text in English using the regular QWERTY keyboard in order to have it translated into Russian and vice versa. Once translated, the text can then be spoken aloud in Russian or in English using the latest text-to-speech voice synthesis.
