I cannot copy and paste any files, whatever the extension, into Books folder, or any subfolders. I can copy them alright from my home directory and subdirectories, but the Jetbook memory appears to have become read-only. I am using Linux. Earlier on the jetbook would not stay on when connected to the computer, but turned off after about half a minute. I took out the SD card and batteries for half an hour, and this seemed to solve that problem. But the read-only problem remains.

Hi,

Thanks for the message. I will move this to the jetBook section maybe you will get more responses. I cant be sure what the issue is here, the only thing i can think of is to try and create a new folder on the jetBook and see if you can add books to it.

You can also contact support@ectaco.com

Hope this helps!

I have tried it out with a computer running Windows XP, and it works OK. It must be a Linux problem.
