byrnesy wrote:Why when I put anything in the text translator starting with I want does it translate to quieren. I want a beer for example translates to quieren una cerveza which is ellos or ellas, they or youse , surely it should be quiero una cervza . This seems a pretty basic sentence to translate and is completly wrong ,the barman would'nt know want you wanted and would think your saying do youse or they want a drink. Its also the same with a lot of other words I need for example is translated to ellos or ellas. Are all the ectaco translators the same or is my faulty because its useless like this and is not worth taking anywhere. The ectaco i have is the ECTACO iTravl NTL-2S Eng Spanish Electronic Dictionary deluxe model. I hope theres an upgrade or some way to fix it because whats the good of a translator if its wrong.
Hi,
Thanks for the question!
1) Please make sure to type proper capitalization and punctuation in order to get a more accurate translation.
2) On my device i type " I want a beer." and it translates to "Yo quiero una cerveza"
Please let me know if this works!
