I need to download material from the Metropolitan Toronto Library System. Also the largest viewable size screen still light enough to be practical, want to scroll as little as possible.
The one with the included Bible is handy. Wished Ectaco had a toll free number for Canadians (unless I have missed a local number posted on the Canadian site).

Which model/s would be suggested. Are there all either 2 AA or 3 AAA batteries. Could rechargeable batteries be used and recharged overnight plugging the e-reader to the wall?

Thanks for any savvy answers you may provide me with.

Auguri.

Hi Auguri,

Thank you for your inquiry.

You can download any materials from Public Libraries using the jetBook as long as they are in one of the supported formats.

You may review the list of supported formats for each of these e-readers online at www.jetbook.net.

We've got 3 versions of the jetBook e-reader - the regular, the Lite one and the jetBook mini.
All of these e-readers have a 5” TFT LCD screen.

The jetBook Lite takes regular 4xAA batteries and the jetBook mini runs on 4 AAA batteries which last up to 90 hours of continuous reading.
The regular jetBook comes with the rechargeable battery inside the unit and includes the MP3 player as an additional benefit.

We are working on additional ebook format support and you will be able to download the updated firmware version absolutely free as soon as we release it.

You may find all available e-readers online at

Please let me know if you have any questions.
