Hi, I can't install the LingvoSoft 2006 Dictionary on Vista.

Please help

Sorry, our current software products do not support Windows Vista. We are planning to update them for Vista by the end of this Fall.

Will those of us who just bought the software and who were not aware of the Vista incompatability get some sort of patch/software swap so we can use it? I can not seem to find anywhere it says it is NOT compatable with Vista on the site. I just looked for "window" software and bought the stuff.....

For those of you with Vista who are having problems running Talking Phrasebook (and perhaps other LingoSoft products) try the following which may help. I am just using the trail product and this fix works fine for me;

1. Right click on the LingvoSoft program (or shortcut) icon
2. Select 'Run as administrator'
3. A box will appear with 'An unidentified program wants to access your computer'
4. Select 'Allow' and the program should start up normally and work without any problem

Note: Depending upon your Vista configuration you may need to set yourself up as an Administrator or provide the Administrator password if requested.

Hello, I downloaded the trial version of Korean Talking Phrasebook 2008, but after I pass the registration screen, the program crashes.
It says "Phrasebook executable has stopped working".

This happens regardless of whether I've checked/unchecked the 'run as administrator' setting for the program in Vista Home Premium, and likewise for the 'run in compatibility with XP' mode.

I have Vista and i would like to purchase Talking English-Bengali Dictionary. But before paying i would like to try a demo because i want to know what i pay for. I downloaded and installed the Talking English-Bengali Dictionary demo, but when i try to open it the program shows "This aplication designed to run under Windows XP". even I tried to open it like it is written by you above, still unsuccessfully. Can you please give me the link for demo made for Vista?
