My itravel NTL seems to have a firmware problem...it no longer respondes to the center menu or IHelp. i have tried reset and reboot but without any change. Is it possible to download and restore firmware?

Ectaco support sent me a dowload link now everything is fine in fact better as the download is a new version..thanks to support team

Thanks for the question! Please let me know the following.
1) Which model do you have (Speechguard or NTL-2R)?
2) Which language is on it? Or is there multiple?
3) Do you still have the original language SD card that the device came with?
4) Approximately when was the original purchase?

Hi,
Thanks for the question. If the device was purchased within a year then it will have warranty on it and it can be fixed or replaced at no extra charge. If the warranty is over then you may have to purchase a new SD card.
Please try this:
1) Remove the SD card from the unit.
2) Their is a very small slider on the side of the SD card. Make sure it is on the "unlocked" position (toward the metal connectors).
3) Replace the SD card.
4) Press the reset button. (this is a very small hole on the back of the device).

They can send you any updates as a download via email.
