jetbook not turning on

I haven't used my jetbook in a while, so I charged it for about 6 hours last night. The green light turned on and the charging animation displayed, but when I unplug the jetbook, I can't turn it on. I've tried pushing the power button once and letting go, and I've also tried holding the power button for 5sec -- or 10sec or 15sec. The only thing that happens is that while holding power the green power light comes on and eventually blinks once, but the device never turns on.

Am I turning it on wrong? Is the device not charging? The charging animation never changes -- it always goes from empty to full. Is it supposed to stop moving when charging is complete? I don't remember.

Also, is it possible to use the device while charging? I've tried powering the device up when it's in the charging animation, and when it's turned off after supposedly charging, but neither works.

Nevermind! Charging with the USB cable off of a power-adapter with built in USB power ports appeared to work fine and my jetbook is back and working fine.
