I purchased a jetbook for my wife and she dropped it 3 months later. I called ectaco and was told that it was not covered under the warranty. They told me I would have to purchase a new one. So I purchased a second one.

A few days later I received an email from Val Reeves who told me if I ordered a new one and put a comment in that it was a replacement, that i would get a replacement for $200. I emailed Val and said i had already purchased one at full price and could i get a refund for the difference. I have not heard from Val since. Way to screw the customer. Since i have an extra $300 broken jetbook, I would like to get the screen replaced incase my toddlers break the good one. Does anyone know where I can get it fixed?

Dear Kat and Larry,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to replace the broken screen of your jetBook e-book reader.

I was also unable to find any emails that had been sent to your email address provided in this forum.

Please forward your last email at sales@ectaco.com so I could further look into this issue.
