Sorry but NOPE, the website with the Ad that led me up the creek is still the SAME Guess you didn't read my post closely, I said it was on the 'Australian' Ectaco site where I purchased from (btw, it's not a registered Ozzie Company as it may seem!)
CHECK:
http://australia.ectaco.com/products/LingvoSoft-Suite-English-Thai-for-Pocket-PC/
This statement would CERTAINLY misinform??
"This essential set of software includes a speech-enabled, bidirectional translating dictionary with an extensive 400,000 word vocabulary.....ect"
The Dictionary is NOT a SPEECH-ENABLED BIDIRECTIONAL TRANSLATING DICTIONARY. That's clearly wrong, bi-directional translating WORDS yep, SPEECH both ways shown as English <-> Thai it's NOT, please tell it like it is, only THAI -> ENGLISH speech

Dear Mrs Marion Gray,
We changed the description on http://australia.ectaco.com as well as on all our websites.
Please refresh the page by pressing ctrl+F5.
We deleted the phrase speech-enabled and added a notification Please click on the links listed below to learn about voice features of the products included in the suite package.
Moreover, as I mentioned before, based on you comments we decided to change the structure of all description pages for all products. We are working on it now.
Once again, thank you for your help.

Much better now thank you. (I don't save cache or cookies and it was still as I posted on that date). But fixed now.
BTW....WHEN will your IT department stop blocking my IP here It starts with 210.49.
Besides there's plenty of ways around being blocked, as you can see I've been able to log n post here since it was blocked a month ago

There's been no further spam..........So why am I still blocked????
Besides there would NEVER have been a need to repost had all mine, (along with many others concerns), not been continually deleted from the Forums instead of the honest concern like you've shown.
Please let me know when it will be unblocked? TIA

I would like to add a comment confirming that your product descriptions are misleading. I am in the process of purchasing an English to Farsi dictionary and am desperatelys eeking one that pronounces in Farsi. My first and subsequent impressions with your product was that they were bi-directional in both text and speech. This is the impression given when reading the initial descriptions of the products.
It is not until one digs deeper into the detailed description that one begins to be unsure if the speach is b-directional. As I dug even deeper into the technical specifications I finally became more certain that the product does not pronounce Farsi and that the speach aspect for the product is purely designed for the native Farsi speaker, not the native English speaker.
Not sure of whether to purchase form Ectaco,
Steve

Dear Anonymous,
We closed this topic since we did not get any replay from you.
Some of our products talk in English only some of them talk in English and Farsi.
