Your final answer makes sense. As I said in my second response, the phones do not support cyrillic alphabet and having spoken to Nokia I can't get it upgraded either, so it looks like only phones obtained from within Russian market will work.

At least I do understand this, shame it took a long time to get this confirmation though.

Contacted Lingvosoft and they say a fix is forthcoming but don't say by when. Shame as the English Russian translator is good but not much help as I am English and I need to know what Russian words mean!

I have another problem with the dictionary: all the transcription is messed up, looks like there is not enough chars in the charcode table and it just puts different square simbol everywhere except consonants. Anybody knows what to do?
