All the most recent handheld dictionaries have their software prototypes, i.e. dictionary emulators for Windows, now selling at Ectaco e-shops.

These applications have all of the features of Partner® X5 and 400 Series models with the exception of voice synthesis/speech recognition.

Users can now familiarize themselves with the powerful linguistic capabilities of these electronic dictionaries at an affordable price. Those who wish to assess the dictionaries in action and later buy the hardware will have the amount paid for the emulator deducted from the price of the handheld electronic dictionary.

System requirements for Partner® X5 Series emulators:
Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/XP; HDD: 20MB; RAM: 20MB.

System requirements for Partner® 400 Series emulators:
Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/XP; HDD: 8MB; RAM: 8MB.
