New Dictionary platform developed by Ectaco, Inc. is designed for corporate clients and regional distributors.

New platform’s flexibility and original architecture make it feasible to produce small batches of electronic devices ordered by corporate clients or regional distributors. Ersen Publishing House of Estonia was the first company to evaluate the capabilities of the new platform – on Ersen’s order Ectaco has produced a talking English-Estonian-Russian dictionary (EER430T).

New York, 2 April 2002: Ectaco, Inc., the world leader in the development and manufacture of digital linguistic systems, announced the completion of a new platform development. The new platform is aimed at the production of small batches of personal electronic translators.

The new technology represented in the 400 series product line ensures fast (from 3 to 6 months) creation of a full-featured talking electronic translator conforming to all customer’s requirements. As little as 500 pieces can be produced to order due to the improved development and management techniques.
