ECTACO iTRAVL NTL-9C Multilingual

Hello, I'm debating the purchase of the ECTACO iTRAVL NTL-9C Multilingual but had some questions:

1. Are the batteries replaceable?
2. Are there any extended warranties available?
3. Can you add additional languages to the the Multilingual (as it ships with 9 languages)?
4. On which PDA is it based?
5. Does it run Windows Mobile?

One review from a custom who had purchased an Ectaco device thinking it could translate text and/or speech indicated that in fact it could not. He went on to ask does the NTL-9C multilingual device translate spoken words, or is it only recognizing shortcuts phrases for pre-determined phrase conversions?

Thanks in advance! I may be going to Barcelona in November and I am very excited about the NTL-9Cs potential.

1. yes, the device comes with one rechargeable battery. You may purchase extra one.
2. yes, you may purchase extra 2 year warranty for $130
3. yes, you may purchase SD cards with additional languages
4. it is independent product
5. it is powered with Windows Mobile 5.0 CE

The device provides speech-to-speech translation for phrasebook entries only. At the same time you may translate any sentences (texts) in text-to-speech mode.
