NSG-40 trouble

After 5 months of using I got the following problem. Instead any sound device produces very loud high-tone beep. Changing volume in settings gives no effect, only switching internal speaker to mute works. Is it possible do something before warranty repairing?

find reset button and press it with something thin, like paper clip (unwinded).
wait for installation, do calibration, and you are ready to go.
