I cannot close my dictionary       Forum Index -> FAQ about software   Autor Message Harold Messages: 1 21/04/2008 05:57:54    Subject: I cannot close my dictionary I have purchased the Lingvosoft 2008 Czech-English Dictionary and noticed that when I close the application it continues to run in ROM. The shortcut icon continues to appear on the screen of my PDA. The 'Running Program List' section of my PDA (O2XDAII) does not show it to be running. I decided to test whether the program was running by trying to uninstall the program. The message from the "Remove Program" application said that uninstalltion was unsuccessful as the program was still running in ROM. This proves to me that even though the program does not show as running in the Programs Running List, it is still running in ROM, as evidenced by the fact that the short cut icon continues to appear on the screen of my PDA. The only way I can stop the program running is to 'soft boot' the PDA. Could you please give me some advice about this problem?
