Hello
i'm new here and i have a problem with my EbookMAN EBM911:i've allready installed the eBookMan desktop software on my computer(who has a XP proffesional SP2 inside)and when i try to install the OS on EBM911 mean time the XP is searching for the driver of the device to install it but he can't find it automaticaly(because i don't have any cd with the driver);so can anybody help my,please,to tell me where can i dowload the driver XP for my EBM-911 so i can purchase the OS installation on it;i thanke you verry much and i really need help

Dear Michel,

The drivers for XP are already available on your PC. It sounds like the drivers for the USB port must be re-installed through the use of the Windows Device Manager.
To access the Device Manager, right click on My Computer, click on Manage and click on Device Manager. If none of the devices listed in that screen refer directly to eBookMan, click on "Other Devices" for information regarding the USB port/eBookMan. Double-click on this item, and click on the "Driver" tab. Click on the "Update Driver" button, and follow the instructions offered in the "Update Driver" wizard.

Dear Michel,

Further to my previous post, if you are asked to specify a location for the driver, point to C:\program files\Franklin Electronic Publishers\eBookMan Desktop Manager\usbdriver. You may be prompted again to put in the installation disk.
If you get this message, click on Browse and point to the folder listed above.
If the installation is successful, you'll see a green line connecting the pictures of eBookMan and the PC the next time you open the eBookMan Desktop Manager software.
