I am a blind person, I just moved from Iraq to Canada. I heard about Ectaco EA900 Talking Dictionary and Language Teacher on the radio, and I am in dire need to learn English to be able to communicate with people. Therefore, I ordered the EA900 and I began using it from the minute I received it. I could not believe the quality of the voice, real human voice, the first in electronic devices with this feature. I was able to use it by myself; I could hear out loud the sound of the letters when I press the keys. The talking dictionary that pronounced the words clearly is helping me to learn the words and know the translation. The audio Phrasebook is amazing, I can say the phrases in Arabic and it will search the translation and say it aloud in English, which will help me to communicate the people wherever I go. In addition, the language teacher, teach you the language step by step and teach you how to pronounce correctly, I can learn anywhere and whenever I want the English language. Over all, this product so far was the first in electronic devises that I was able to use and benefit from as a blind person and I recommended it to my friends who are also visually impaired.
